Sony CEO says Vita gaming device performs near expectations

Chief Executive Kazuo Hirai signalled on Thursday some softness in sales of new gaming device Vita, but said overall it performed near expectations.Vita hit the stores earlier this year and is the latest in a long line of mobile gaming gadgets in the spirit of Nintendo’s Game Boy and Atari’s Lynx.The device has met scepticism among some analysts who doubt whether there is a place for such a device in a market which is increasingly dominated by games played on smartphones and tablets.

This mobile recently introduced the Lenovo A65 which runs at 800MHz CPU speed on a 2.3 Gingerbread version and it’s amazingly hit the mobile market because of its very affordable price of 5,499. Prior to A65 they launched the Lenovo A60 which is an Android smartphone too.Most of the dual-SIM Android phones that are coming out lately are on the entry-level end. A few have reached the mid-range category with the likes of Alcatel and HTC with their Desire V. Lenovo is now also a strong contender with the P700.
